Custom Orders Policy

This Custom Orders Policy applies to any made-to-order or custom medallion and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By placing a custom order, you agree to the terms below.

1) Definitions

A “Custom Order” includes any medallion that is created or modified specifically for you, including (without limitation) new artwork, personalization, custom text, dates, names, badge numbers, ranks, business identifiers, or any design not offered as standard inventory.

2) What You Receive

Unless your invoice or written quote states otherwise, a paid custom order includes a finished medallion allotment as follows:

  • 2″– 4″ sizes: Three (3) finished medallions total
  • 6″ size: Two (2) finished medallions total
  • Over 6″ sizes: One (1) finished medallion total

Additional quantities may be available by request, but are not guaranteed and may require additional tooling, minimums, or lead time. Highly personalized designs are typically produced only in the quantities ordered.

3) Production Timelines

Timelines begin only after final written approval of the production-ready mockup and any required payments are received. Estimated timelines (not guarantees) are:

  • 2″– 6″ medallions: typically 6–10 weeks after final approval
  • Over 6″ medallions: typically 3–6 months after final approval
  • 12″ and larger: may require up to 10 months

Timelines may extend due to tooling, casting schedules, vendor capacity, material availability, holidays, shipping carrier delays, or other factors outside of our control.

4) Artwork & Mockup Process

After purchase, your submitted details are forwarded to our art department to create a mockup for review. You are responsible for reviewing all mockups carefully, including spelling, dates, numbers, layout, and overall design.

5) Included Revisions & Additional Artwork Fees

Each paid custom order includes up to three (3) mockup revisions based on the original design direction.

Requests beyond the included three revisions, or any request that materially alters the original design direction, require purchase of our Additional Artwork Revisions – 3 Mockup Pack, which covers up to three (3) additional mockup revisions.

No additional mockup revisions will be performed until the applicable artwork fee is paid in full.

Additional artwork fees apply to artwork and mockup revisions only and do not include production changes, additional medallions, tooling, or design restarts. Artwork fees are non-refundable.

6) Final Approval Locks the Order

Once you approve the final mockup (including by signature form, written confirmation, email confirmation, or other written approval method we provide), the order is locked. After final approval:

  • No further artwork changes will be accepted.
  • No quantity changes or additions will be accepted on that order.
  • Production proceeds using the approved mockup as the final specification.

7) Colors, Finishes, and Handmade Variation

Due to casting, patina, enamel, curing, and display differences across devices, slight variations in color tone, sheen, and finish are normal. Minor variations are not defects and do not qualify for refund or free remake.

8) Pricing, Quotes, and Material Volatility

Custom pricing may change due to fluctuations in copper, tin, bronze, coatings, labor, transportation, and related costs. Quotes (if provided) are valid only for the period stated in the quote. If no period is stated, quotes may be changed or withdrawn at any time prior to payment.

9) Payments, Purchase Orders, and Fulfillment

We do not accept Purchase Orders (POs). All custom orders and applicable artwork fees must be paid in full before production proceeds. For artwork-fee purchases processed through Shopify, the system will email an order confirmation/receipt and the item may be marked fulfilled as an administrative step; fulfillment status does not affect your custom production timeline.

10) No Cancellations / No Returns / No Refunds

Because custom orders are made-to-order and uniquely produced for you, custom orders are non-refundable and not eligible for return or cancellation. This includes artwork fees, tooling, and any custom production work once started.

11) Questions & Communication

To avoid delays, please provide complete details at checkout and respond promptly to mockup emails. If you have questions about quantities, timelines, or feasibility, contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.

Delays may occur due to tooling, casting schedules, materials, vendor capacity, holidays, or shipping carriers.

Revisions & Artwork Fees

Your paid custom order includes up to three (3) mockup revisions.

Additional revisions require purchase of our Additional Artwork Revisions – 3 Mockup Pack (covers up to three (3) additional mockup revisions).

No additional revisions will be done until the fee is paid in full.

Artwork fees are for artwork/mockups only, are non-refundable, and do not include production changes or restarts.

Final Approval Locks the Order

Once you approve the final mockup in writing, the design is locked. No changes or quantity additions can be made after approval.

Variations

Minor color/finish variation can occur due to casting, enamel, curing, and screen differences. These are normal and not defects.

Pricing & Materials

Custom pricing may change due to material and production cost fluctuations. Quotes are only valid for the stated period (if any).

Payments / No POs

No Purchase Orders accepted. All custom orders and artwork fees must be paid in full before production proceeds.

No Returns / No Refunds

Custom orders are non-refundable and not eligible for return, cancellation, or refund.
