Welcome to HeroMedallions.com (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or purchasing from HeroMedallions.com, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Our Website

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian to use this website.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

2. Products & Descriptions

• Colors and finishes may vary due to screen differences.
• Minor hand-finished variations are normal and not defects.
• Availability may change without notice.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and subject to change without notice.

By placing an order, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.

All quotes are valid for 15 days from the date issued. If an order is not placed within that period, the quote expires and the order will be processed at current pricing in effect at the time of purchase.

4. Payment Terms, Payment Methods, Purchase Orders & Custom Orders

• Accepted Payment Methods. Hero Medallions accepts the payment methods offered through our Webstore at the time of purchase. For approved commercial, government, cemetery, monument, and wholesale customers, additional payment options may be offered at our discretion.
• Payment Due. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, payment is due in full before products are manufactured or shipped.
• Invoices. We may offer invoicing to qualified commercial customers at our sole discretion. Invoice terms, payment methods, and due dates will be stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to require prepayment on any order.
• Commercial Payment Options. For commercial invoiced orders, Hero Medallions may accept payment by ACH transfer, bank wire transfer, cashier's check, company check, or other approved payment methods. Acceptance of any payment method for one transaction does not obligate Hero Medallions to continue offering that payment method for future orders.
• Credit Card Processing. Certain payment methods may include processing fees or other costs absorbed by Hero Medallions. We reserve the right to limit, decline, or modify available payment methods for any order or customer.
• Credit Card Processing Fees. For certain commercial, wholesale, government, cemetery, monument, or other invoiced transactions, Hero Medallions may assess a credit card processing surcharge when payment is made by an eligible credit card. Any applicable surcharge will not exceed Hero Medallions' actual cost of processing or applicable legal and card network limits, will be disclosed before payment is accepted, and will appear as a separate line item on the invoice or receipt where required by law. Customers may avoid applicable credit card processing surcharges by using alternative payment methods offered for the transaction, such as ACH transfer, bank wire transfer, cashier's check, or company check, when available.
• Purchase Orders. Submission of a Purchase Order does not constitute acceptance by Hero Medallions. We do not accept Purchase Orders as payment. Any Purchase Order provided by a customer is for the customer's internal reference only unless expressly accepted by Hero Medallions in writing.
• Returned Payments. Orders associated with returned checks, failed ACH transactions, chargebacks, payment disputes, or other unsuccessful payments may be delayed, canceled, or held until payment has been successfully received. Customers remain responsible for any balances due.
• Collections. Customers agree to pay all reasonable costs incurred by Hero Medallions in collecting overdue balances, including collection agency fees, court costs, reasonable attorney fees where permitted by law, and any applicable interest allowed by law.
• Pricing Errors. We reserve the right to correct pricing, typographical, or calculation errors at any time prior to shipment. If a correction materially affects an order, the customer will be notified and may cancel the order for a full refund.
• Custom Orders. Custom orders are non-refundable once payment is accepted. Custom work begins immediately and includes artwork/design time, engineering, tooling, mold creation, and minting production processes.
• Custom Order Tooling, Dies, Molds & Production Materials. Any molds, dies, tooling, artwork, engineering files, production files, manufacturing methods, and related materials created, commissioned, modified, or used in connection with a custom order remain the exclusive property of Hero Medallions and/or its manufacturing partners unless otherwise agreed to in a separate written agreement signed by Hero Medallions. The purchase of a custom medallion grants ownership of the finished product only and does not transfer ownership of any molds, dies, tooling, artwork, intellectual property, production files, manufacturing rights, or reproduction rights. Hero Medallions is under no obligation to provide, transfer, sell, release, destroy, or otherwise relinquish molds, dies, tooling, or related production materials upon completion of an order.

5. Order Processing & Shipping

Orders are processed in the order received. Expedited shipping moves to the top of the queue.

We attempt to ship within 24–48 hours when possible, but this is not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to holidays, weather, carrier interruptions, labor issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

BACKORDERED items (if available) may require 6–12 weeks to arrive at our warehouse before shipment. Customers are responsible for adjusting timelines accordingly.

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and deliverable shipping address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer, additional shipping and handling charges will be required before the order is re-shipped.

Once an order has shipped, we are not responsible for carrier delays, weather interruptions, or third-party delivery failures.

6. Returns & Replacements

• We replace verified manufacturing defects.
• Natural bronze aging and finish variations are not defects.
• Custom orders are not returnable unless defective.

7. 50-Year Limited Manufacturing Warranty

We warrant our medallions to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for fifty (50) years from the original date of purchase.

This warranty does not cover:

• Improper installation or failure to follow mounting instructions
• Standing or pooled water from horizontal or recessed installations
• Irrigation systems, cleaning chemicals, salt exposure, freeze/thaw cycles
• Monument shifting, cracking, or substrate failure
• Vandalism, impact damage, or third-party interference
• Natural patina darkening, coating wear, or cosmetic surface changes from environmental exposure

Bronze naturally develops patina over time. Horizontal or recessed installations may allow moisture or chemicals to accumulate and accelerate surface changes. These are environmental reactions and not manufacturing defects.

Our sole obligation under this warranty is repair or replacement of the medallion at our discretion. Removal, installation, labor, or associated costs are not covered.

LONG TERM ENVIRONMENT CARE

We recommend medallions exposed to the environment be waxed with a good rub on, let dry, buff out auto wax monthly, for the same protective treatment your car's finish would get.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in Utah courts.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hero Medallions.
