Welcome to HeroMedallions.com (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or purchasing from HeroMedallions.com, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Our Website

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian to use this website.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

2. Products & Descriptions

• Colors and finishes may vary due to screen differences.
• Minor hand-finished variations are normal and not defects.
• Availability may change without notice.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and subject to change without notice.

By placing an order, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.

All quotes are valid for 15 days from the date issued. If an order is not placed within that period, the quote expires and the order will be processed at current pricing in effect at the time of purchase.

4. Payment Terms, Payment Methods, Purchase Orders & Custom Orders

• Accepted Payment Methods. Hero Medallions accepts the payment methods offered through our Webstore at the time of purchase. For approved commercial, government, cemetery, monument, and wholesale customers, additional payment options may be offered at our discretion.
• Payment Due. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, payment is due in full before products are manufactured or shipped.
• Invoices. We may offer invoicing to qualified commercial customers at our sole discretion. Invoice terms, payment methods, and due dates will be stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to require prepayment on any order.
• Commercial Payment Options. For commercial invoiced orders, Hero Medallions may accept payment by ACH transfer, bank wire transfer, cashier's check, company check, or other approved payment methods. Acceptance of any payment method for one transaction does not obligate Hero Medallions to continue offering that payment method for future orders.
• Credit Card Processing. Certain payment methods may include processing fees or other costs absorbed by Hero Medallions. We reserve the right to limit, decline, or modify available payment methods for any order or customer.
• Credit Card Processing Fees. For certain commercial, wholesale, government, cemetery, monument, or other invoiced transactions, Hero Medallions may assess a credit card processing surcharge when payment is made by an eligible credit card. Any applicable surcharge will not exceed Hero Medallions' actual cost of processing or applicable legal and card network limits, will be disclosed before payment is accepted, and will appear as a separate line item on the invoice or receipt where required by law. Customers may avoid applicable credit card processing surcharges by using alternative payment methods offered for the transaction, such as ACH transfer, bank wire transfer, cashier's check, or company check, when available.
• Purchase Orders. Submission of a Purchase Order does not constitute acceptance by Hero Medallions. We do not accept Purchase Orders as payment. Any Purchase Order provided by a customer is for the customer's internal reference only unless expressly accepted by Hero Medallions in writing.
• Returned Payments. Orders associated with returned checks, failed ACH transactions, chargebacks, payment disputes, or other unsuccessful payments may be delayed, canceled, or held until payment has been successfully received. Customers remain responsible for any balances due.
• Collections. Customers agree to pay all reasonable costs incurred by Hero Medallions in collecting overdue balances, including collection agency fees, court costs, reasonable attorney fees where permitted by law, and any applicable interest allowed by law.
• Pricing Errors. We reserve the right to correct pricing, typographical, or calculation errors at any time prior to shipment. If a correction materially affects an order, the customer will be notified and may cancel the order for a full refund.
• Custom Order Payment & Project Commencement. Custom orders must be paid in full with cleared funds before artwork development, engineering review, tooling, mold creation, or production begins, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Hero Medallions. Receipt of cleared payment authorizes Hero Medallions to begin artwork development, engineering review, and project preparation. Custom orders are non-refundable once payment has been accepted and work has begun.
• Artwork Approval & Production Authorization. Manufacturing begins only after Hero Medallions has received the customer's final written eSignature approval of the artwork and applicable order specifications. Production timelines begin after all required approvals and authorizations have been completed. The customer's final eSignature approval authorizes production according to the approved artwork and specifications.
• Custom Order Tooling, Dies, Molds & Production Materials. Tooling, setup, mold, die, sculpting, engineering, or similar charges associated with a custom order are charges for the services and resources required to prepare the order for manufacture and do not constitute the purchase of the resulting molds, dies, tooling, masters, sculpting files, engineering files, production files, manufacturing specifications, manufacturing methods, or related production assets. Unless otherwise agreed to in a separate written agreement signed by Hero Medallions, such materials and production assets created, commissioned, modified, or used in connection with a custom order remain the exclusive property of Hero Medallions and/or its manufacturing partners. The customer purchases the finished medallions only and does not acquire ownership of or rights to molds, dies, tooling, production assets, manufacturing methods, manufacturing rights, or reproduction rights. Hero Medallions is under no obligation to provide, transfer, sell, release, destroy, or otherwise relinquish molds, dies, tooling, production files, or related production materials upon completion of an order.
• Custom Order Policy. Custom orders are also subject to the terms, procedures, requirements, and limitations stated in our Custom Orders Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Order Processing & Shipping

Orders are processed in the order received. Expedited shipping moves to the top of the queue.

We attempt to ship within 24–48 hours when possible, but this is not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to holidays, weather, carrier interruptions, labor issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

BACKORDERED items (if available) may require 6–12 weeks to arrive at our warehouse before shipment. Customers are responsible for adjusting timelines accordingly.

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and deliverable shipping address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer, additional shipping and handling charges will be required before the order is re-shipped.

Once an order has shipped, we are not responsible for carrier delays, weather interruptions, or third-party delivery failures.

6. Returns & Replacements

Returns, replacements, credits, and claims are governed by our Return & Replacement Policy.

• Verified manufacturing defects may qualify for replacement under the applicable warranty and policy terms.
• Environmental deterioration, normal aging, patina, tarnish, oxidation, coating or finish deterioration, color deterioration, and damage caused by installation, maintenance, chemicals, weather, irrigation, or other environmental conditions are not manufacturing defects.
• When a replacement is authorized, the original medallion must be returned to Hero Medallions before the replacement is issued unless Hero Medallions expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Returned items may be inspected for quality-control and warranty evaluation purposes.
• Custom orders are not returnable except as expressly provided for a verified manufacturing defect.

Hero Medallions may, at its sole discretion, provide assistance, replacement, credit, or other accommodation in circumstances not covered by warranty or policy. Any such accommodation is a customer-service courtesy and does not constitute an admission of defect, create a continuing obligation, modify these Terms or any warranty, or establish a precedent for future claims.

7. 50-Year Limited Manufacturing Warranty, Longevity & Care

Hero Medallions warrants its medallions to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for fifty (50) years from the original date of purchase.

The 50-Year Limited Manufacturing Warranty applies to defects originating from the manufacture of the medallion. It is not a 50-year outdoor-exposure, environmental-durability, finish, color, coating, or appearance warranty. Outdoor installations are continuously exposed to environmental and human factors beyond the control of Hero Medallions, and resulting deterioration or damage is not a manufacturing defect.

Bronze is a durable material capable of lasting for generations, but its surface and finish naturally respond to the environment over time. Actual cosmetic longevity depends on installation, location, climate, exposure, cleaning practices, maintenance, and other conditions beyond the control of Hero Medallions.

Environmental deterioration or damage caused after manufacture is not a manufacturing defect, regardless of when it becomes visible. This includes, but is not limited to, peeling, lifting, color deterioration, chemical or dry oxidation, general oxidation, patina, tarnish, coating deterioration, staining, fading, corrosion, abrasion, impact, vandalism, cleaning or maintenance practices, irrigation, standing water, weather, sunlight, ultraviolet (UV) radiation and other solar exposure, temperature extremes, freeze/thaw cycles, airborne contaminants, salt, chemicals, pollution, animal activity, landscaping or grounds-maintenance activity, and other natural, environmental, accidental, or human-caused conditions.

This warranty does not cover:

• Improper installation or failure to follow mounting instructions
• Standing or pooled water from horizontal or recessed installations
• Irrigation systems, cleaning chemicals, salt exposure, freeze/thaw cycles, or other environmental exposure
• Monument shifting, cracking, deterioration, or substrate failure
• Vandalism, theft, impact damage, abrasion, or third-party interference
• Natural patina, tarnish, oxidation, coating or finish wear, color deterioration, or other cosmetic surface changes caused by age or environmental exposure
• Damage or deterioration resulting from improper cleaning, maintenance, chemicals, abrasives, coatings, sealants, pressure washing, or other products or processes applied after delivery
• Damage caused by landscaping, grounds maintenance, lawn equipment, machinery, tools, animals, falling objects, accidents, natural events, or other external forces

Care Responsibility. Proper installation, cleaning, maintenance, and ongoing care are the responsibility of the purchaser, owner, installer, monument company, cemetery, or other person responsible for the medallion after delivery. Following Hero Medallions' published Medallion Care & Maintenance recommendations can help preserve the appearance and protective finish of the medallion, but no maintenance method can prevent all natural or environmental change indefinitely.

Our sole obligation under this warranty is repair or replacement of a qualifying medallion at our discretion. Removal, installation, labor, monument work, refinishing of surrounding materials, or other associated costs are not covered.

Warranty and replacement claims remain subject to our Return & Replacement Policy, including applicable inspection and return requirements.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in Utah courts.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hero Medallions regarding your purchase and use of our products and services.
