Medallion Care & Maintenance Guide

Medallion Care & Maintenance

Preserving the story… for years to come.

Every Hero Medallion is handcrafted in solid bronze and sealed with a protective clear coat—similar to the finish used on fine automobiles. This finish is designed to enhance depth, color, and durability, but like any high-quality surface exposed to the elements, it benefits from occasional care.

Why Care Matters

Your medallion lives outdoors—exposed to sun, moisture, temperature swings, and environmental buildup. Over time, these elements can wear on any protective surface if left unattended.

A simple care routine helps protect its coating and preserve the richness, contrast, and detail that make each medallion so meaningful.

Simple Care Routine

  • Gently wipe the surface clean of dust, dirt, or residue
  • Apply a light coat of high quality automotive wax that you would put on a very expensive car finish
  • Allow it to haze, then buff gently with a soft cloth
  • Repeat periodically based on local environmental conditions

A Familiar Standard

If you’ve ever cared for the finish on your vehicle, you already understand the process.

You protect what you value—and this is no different.

What to Avoid

  • Harsh chemical cleaners
  • Abrasive pads or polishing compounds
  • Allowing standing water or residue to sit for extended periods

A Lasting Tribute

A headstone shows where someone rests… a medallion shows who they were.

With just a small amount of care, your Hero Medallion will continue to reflect that story with clarity, depth, and honor for years to come.
